I've owned Sorex Pro for 2 years now, didn't detect much last year, moving to new city, getting the new house in order etc. Of Course I get the bug to go detecting right when the ground is freezing solid, happens every winter!!
Glad to find these forums and all the collected knowledge here. I think AKA is the best kept secret in Metal Detecting. Sorex Pro is the first machine I've owned that I don't feel like maybe If I spend more money I can get better performance/depth. Nice having confidence in your machine.
