A handful of items bought through a different type of currency does not an economy make. This is a fundamental of Economics, Supply & Demand. With more people gaining Philo stones to buy items with, it will only devalue those items currently being sold, it won't change the value of say Furnishings (housing prices already did that), consumables such as food, potions, etc., or any other items being sold at the market.
Those of us who play the market do it with caution. There are items we sell that may sell at high prices this week and fairly low prices next week. When I saw the new housing prices, I knew for a fact it would be pointless to start making furnishing items, no one would buy my items for a house they won't own for another 6 months. However that's just the tip of the iceberg.
If anything I see the value of the philo items going way down, due to the increase in philo and the other gear options you currently have in the game. But that won't affect me in anyway, I've made more money off of other items then philo, and while I may have delved into that market before the patch, it wasn't my main source of income.
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
