Sure, communism, on paper seems like a good idea. However, in my opinion, it enslaves people and causes misery. It's an economic system, for one, not a form of government; it essentially allows the State to tell you what you can or can't buy, and that's morally wrong. It's not all about "everyone else" or the "general welfare." It's about your survival. It's about doing for you and your family. I'm not worried about Joe Schmoe down the street. I am worried about my needs and wants. Plus, it's radical, and something radical (left or right) is bad.
